Abseil

A trip involving abseiling

Accommodation

An activity that involves an overnight stay, using hard-roofed accommodation such as a cabin, hut or hotel.

Camp

An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.

Canyon

A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).

Cycle

A cycling trip

Paddle

A canoe or kayak trip

Picnic

For a mostly static outdoor activity based around a picnic

Rogaine

A map and compass based navigation activity.

Snow

A trip through snow on snowshoes or skis.

Swim

A trip that involves swimming

Talk

A talk or slide show presentation.

Walk

A bushwalk of any kind short or long

A trip that involves a relaxed stop at a cafe.

Educational

A trip where the leader will focus on teaching or training.

Family

A trip that is planned to cater for children and their parents.

Fast pace

A trip where the leaders will set a fast pace.

First time friendly

A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)

Fully Vaccinated

All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.

Photography

A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.

Public Transport

There are public transport options to and from this activity.

Slow pace

A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.

Social

A trip where people will be encouraged to interact and chat with each other.
