Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(Updated Details) We start the walk at Darvall Park, Denistone. The walk will continue at Terrys Creek and then at Browns Waterhole to join the Great North Walk; finish at Lady Game Drive, Lane Cove NP. The walk will follow the creeks, Lane Cove River and will pass through remnants of shale blue gum forest. At Darvall Park the circumference of a massive blue gum is 6.5m. There are also turpentines & blackbutts. This valuable bush land provides a corridor for wildlife such as water dragons & rosellas. Hopefully, Anthony, a NPA member & volunteer bush worker, will join & enlighten us with his knowledge of Darvall Park. Hazards: Slippery when wet.
