Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Date Changed) Two separate walks to two peaks in different areas of the beautiful Guula Ngurra NP, with a minor car shuffle. The Mt Penang loop walk follows a pleasant, well-formed track up to the summit of Mt Penang with its panoramic views. The track winds steadily uphill with a short, steep climb at the end. The Baldy Billy Peak walking track is an out-and-back walk to another summit with spectacular views down into the Wollondilly River valley below. After an initial short but very steep descent we cross a pretty, wide valley floor and then start the slow, steady climb to the summit of Baldy Billy Peak and then return along the same route. Steep climbs & descents, uneven surfaces, indistinct track in places, unfenced cliff edges, slippery in places (walking poles recommended).

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long60 Best walks | This is one of the NPA's 60 best walks.Photography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.The Wodi Wodi track has been newly refurbished, and that's great news as this iconic trail passes through some beautiful rainforest worth visiting. Of course that's only a short section of this hike as we climb up onto the lofty Illawarra escarpment for stunning coastal views as we make our way to Sublime point for a well earned plate of optional hot chips or anything else that takes your fancy from the cafe there. Before descending down the amazing steel staircase to the valley floor below to catch the train back to Sydney. lots of steps

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longThis is a medium (grade 3) walk along Bargo River via Potholes Track to Diesel Pass and onto See Thru Falls then Mermaids Pool for morning tea. We will then follow the Matilda Track to a series of lookouts.   At the third lookout, we will split into 2 groups.  The optional harder (grade 4) walk will continue on and down Rosies Pass into and along Tahmoor Gorge and lunch in the gorge then return via Jacks Pass. The easier (grade 3) walk will back track to one of the lookouts for lunch. Rough track, unfenced edges, slippery rocks & creek crossings.

The walk returns to Lindfield Park via the picturesque Little Digger Track, and through a few shortcut alley ways in East Lindfield. Steep, rugged and slippery sections. Limit: 15. View

From Rock Bottom we will access Point Hatteras via a route that follows under the clifflines below Point Hatteras and after ascending to the top will visit the Cape as well as the very interesting Mine in the Sky before descending via a route to the north of Airly Turret. Return via 2:45pm ferry from Watsons Bay to Circular Quay  ar. 3:08pm, train to Central in time for 4pm train. Many steps & street walking. Limit: 20. View

There are sixty Camellia Gardens of Excellence in the world, with the Camellia Gardens and Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby being the only two in NSW. The Gardens have over 400 cultivars and species donated and acquired since its first plantings began in 1969, in addition to many other rare ornamental and native plants. The collection is of unique value to Australian horticulture. The Gardens have something for all seasons. The camellias are in season during autumn and winter. Tea house serves delicious devonshire and lunches.   We will play by ear. A walk at Woronora Cemetery can be added on. Limit: 10. View

This is definitely one of my favourite walks in the Mugii Murum-Ban SCA as it shows off some of the most spectacular country in this fabulous location including an eagles eye view into the Valley of the Dinosaurs along with more pagodas than you can point a boot at!We will visit the Ultimate slot on the way back as it is only a short sidetrip! Once we leave the firetrail it is all offtrack walking along Treasure chest ridge but it is not terribly difficult. I've put the walk length at 6 kms but that is only if we are able to drive most of the way up the access road. If the access gate is closed add 4 extra kms. rock scrambling and offtrack walking

One of the classic lower mountains walks is this superb route that descends via the ruggedly beautiful Pisgah Rock and then we rock hop up to the historical Dadder Cave for a look, before experiencing the stunning beauty of the Erskine creek gorge and an easy ascent via Jack Evans track. There should be plenty of Winter wildflowers out too to enjoy along the way. rock hopping along the creek
