Originally formed 1975 as Sutherland group (a subgroup of Central Region). Early figures included Phil Proops, Gary Schoer, Maureen Baker, Jim Callaway (1936-2018) and Rick Nelson. Became Southern Sydney Branch on 6 Aug 1986.
