History: |
Originally Berrima District Branch, formed 23 Nov 1970 as a branch (subgroup) of Central Region. Early figures included John Kerin MP (b. 1937), Trevor Bensley (1931-2020), J. Adams Acton, Arthur Beasley (1913-2009), D. MacPherson and Rachel Roxburgh AO (1915-1991). Reconstituted 9 Feb 1976 as a branch of the Association, renamed Southern Highlands Branch circa Aug 1991.
