|Hat Hill Canyon is a relatively easy canyon as it involves no abseils, but it includes a couple of very short swims and some extremely attractive canyon sections that will make for an interesting and exciting trip. 3 very short swims so wetsuit needed.

|A pack walk with a holiday component with only 22km of walking. In and out along the Dargal Fire trail with a first night at Patons Hut (a short walk from the cars). Three nights at the lovely Wheelers Hut
before the return. All the usual lovely Koscie scenery! Walk dates include a before and after optional stay at Jindabyne.

To celebrate the completion of The Harbour to Hawkesbury series of walk, we'll do a celebration walk from Cowan to Brooklyn, followed by the classic Fish and Chips. This is a very popular walk. The highlight of the whole walk is the incredibly picturesque Jerusalem Bay, which makes a great spot for a mid walk swim. At this time of the year, it is a wildflowers lover's paradise... Boronia, Grevillea, Tea Tree, Rice flowers, Pea flowers, just to name a few. Some rock scrambling and steep sections. Limit: 12. View|

NSW'S PREMIER STEAM EVENT.
LOCOMOTIVE 3001 TO FEATURE AT 2023 FESTIVAL OF STEAMIn 2023, Thirlmere village will once again awaken to the enchanting sound of the steam whistle for the annual Thirlmere Festival of Steam.
From newly restored steam Locomotive 3001 and Legend of Steam Locomotive 3801 to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest operating steam locomotive Beyer-Garratt 6029, visitors will be spoilt for choice with the biggest display of historic NSW railway steam engines at this year’s Thirlmere Festival of Steam. All locomotives listed will either feature on display in steam or operate one of the many steam train rides throughout the weekend along the historic Loop Line. Their will also be a range of smaller steam traction engines in and around the NSW Rail Museum .

|(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Flying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley. The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot. On the edge of the escarpment there are spectacular views.
Hazards: Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.

|Deep Pass Canyon on Nayook Creek offers the adventurous type some real fun whilst following its length with some stunning pools to swim in, a few waterfalls to climb around and swim under via a system of ropes and aids! So come along with your cossies and experience this superb little canyon. A side trip to Split Rock is also a must. Scrambling up the side of waterfalls.

Today we walk on the Lyrebird and Casuarina tracks. This is a moderate, (not easy) trail with some rock scrambling. Highlights to look out for are the river views, King Parrot, Wallaby, long neck hawk.

|Walk to Ticehurst Park to view rock carvings. Then follow a rough track down to find relicts of a steam powered sawmill. Make our way beside Linden Creek before we ascend steeply up a spur to come out on Hillcrest Ave trail. Out and back to visit lookout with views over Linden Creek. Steep loose sections. Creek crossings. Rock scrambling. 0ff-track sections. Trip hazards including old rusty relics and vines.
