![]() ![]() (Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Rocky creek canyon is the classic canyon and is regarded as an entry level wet canyon as it does not have any abseils but does have several short swims with the longest being about 30 metres. The scenery in this canyon is unparalleled as its sculptured walls are regarded as the best you'll find anywhere. On this trip I plan to do the full length and climb up the exit track which means we won't have to double back and climb up the cascades. Participants should have the following gear, helmet, wetsuit, drybag, PFD if you are not a proficient swimmer. I have rated this a 5 because there are some tricky scrambles down cascades to negotiate and a rocky climb out at the end. rock scrambling and slippery conditionsLocation: Wollemi NP Map: Rock Hill 89312N Limit: 12. The first rogaine of 2026 will be a 3 hour minigaine to be held at Swansea High School (at beautiful Caves Beach), on Awabakal land about 90 minutes north of Sydney on Sunday 22 February. It is open to teams (2-5) or individuals.
The course includes coast, urban and bush areas and extends north over the Swansea bridge to Blacksmiths and Pelican. The bridge opens for maritime traffic on the hour, so see if you can time this right.
Near Swansea is the (in)famous Reid’s Mistake. A fun name for a rogaine control. There are playgrounds, coffee shops, open air showers and opportunities for a dip if it gets too hot.
Post event snacks and drinks are included in the entry fee.
Entries close 16 Feb.
