Mostly on a track but some sand walking and jumping down off a steep dune could be required. Bring morning tea and lunch and enjoy a slow pace, with plenty of opportunity for swimming. Day 2, Tuesday 31st, Leader Ian: Drive to Katoomba Falls kiosk/Tourist Park (Cliff Drive) - Prince Henry Cliff Walk - Echo Point - Federal Pass - Leura Forest - Dardanelles Pass to Furber Steps - back to cars (Cliff Drive). Hazards - lots of steps and lyrebirds. (Optional return via Scenic Railway - short walk back to cars.)
Day 3, Wed. 1st Nov., Leader Jerry: Drive to Mt. Hay Rd. - Walk A to Fortress Rock L/O and return optional side trip to Dr. Darke’s Cave)- Walk B to Lockley Pylon via Pinnacles and return.

to Castle Head and return.
