The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world's great long distance walk trails, stretching 1000km from Kalamunda, a suburb in the hills on the outskirts of Perth, to the historic town of Albany on the south coast. It passes through the heart of the scenic south west of Western Australia. The track takes walkers through towering karri and tingle forests, down mist-shrouded valleys, over giant granite boulders and along breathtaking coastal heathlands. It passes through many of the most beautiful national parks of the south west forests and coastline. We will take about 50 days to complete the walk. We will camp at the designated Bibbulmun campsites which have a shelter, table and benches, water tank and drop toilet - luxury! Weekly stopovers in a town for a shower and re-stock of food supplies. Contact the leader for more details. Uneven surfaces, possible slippery and muddy tracks; snakes (but it will be winter so I don't think we will meet any).

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Slow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.A walk of discovery and mostly off-track, exploring the interesting and dramatic landscape of these cliff lines, small creeks and ravines high above the Grose Valley. The distance isn't very far but this is not an area you can travel in a speedy manner as there's so much to see along the way, including some very impressive pagodas. Intending walkers should be fully vaxxinated. Rock scrambling and mostly off-track walking so expect some bush bashing.
