One of the highlights is the enormous Acoustic chamber but there are plenty more too including dramatic cliff lines, overhangs, lookout points, and much more. So bring along your sense of adventure and you won't be disappointed! Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

This is a very popular walk. The highlight of the whole walk is the incredibly picturesque Jerusalem Bay, which makes a great spot for a mid walk swim. At this time of the year, it is a wildflowers lover's paradise... Boronia, Grevillea, Tea Tree, Rice flowers, Pea flowers, just to name a few. Some rock scrambling and steep sections. Limit: 12. This year, the weekend will be dedicated to the memory of our good friend Jim Romanowski. After last year’s weekend, Jim twice asked to make it an annual event, so here it is. Drive to Newnes on Friday afternoon, share accommodation in the comfy and fully equipped Newnes cabins, or stay in the five-star camping ground. Friday night, the famous ukes will be back for a sing-along out the front of the pub. Saturday, a range of walks will be offered with various grades and leaders, the Glowworm Tunnel with a small canyon will be one. Saturday night includes surprise entertainment on the grassed area outside the pub including a toast to Jim. Sunday morning sleep-in then walk to the top of Mystery Mountain for brunch, great views and pagoda exploring. For those interested, a walk around the ruins on Sunday afternoon is available. Cost is approximately $120 pp for both nights in a cabin or $50 for a campsite. Leftover money will be donated equally to The Shepherd Centre and The Colong Foundation. Walks grades 3 and 4. View

To mark the anniversary of "Crossing the Blue Mountains 2020", we will do the "Magical Wentworth Falls to Lawson via Bruces Walk" again. Begin with the Maple trees lined streets of beautiful Wentworth Falls. It’s a memorable walk with wildflowers galore (Waratahs, Bearded Orchids, Sun orchids, Caladenia, greenhoods) waterfalls, caves, gum forests, sassafras’s forests, birdlife and majestic views. This walk is not for you if you don’t like creek crossings (5), steep climbs and vertical ladders (4). Steep and slippery sections, slides and rock scrambling.

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longDrive to Jindabyne on day 1. Day 2 drive to Dead Horse Gap and walk 10k to Cascade Hut and set up tents and explore the area. Day 3 walk with day pack towards Tin Mind huts or to Tin Mind Falls, returning to Cascade Hut for the night. Day 4 - Either walk part way back to cars or day walk towards The Chimneys. Day 5 - Walk back to cars, then Jindabyne for the night. Return home the following day. Pace: unhurried. Min distance 20k, more if other options are taken up. If unknown to leader, please advise walking experience.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.The Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan showcases Australian flora amongst 416 hectares of rolling hills, lakes, lawns and gardens. In the late 18th century, the discovery of a new continent filled with exotic plants unknown to the rest of the world created waves of excitement in the field of botany. The Australian Botanic Garden displays approximately 2000 of these plants via themed gardens across the site as well as the Connections Garden, a four-hectare intensely cultivated space right in the heart of the Garden. Other features of the Garden include a restaurant, visitor centre with gift shop, free gas barbecues and acres of Cumberland Plain Woodland to explore. Come September, the paper daisies become an attraction for visitors. Various species of Waratahs will be flowering too. After seeing the floral display, we will walk to the Sundial, Mount Annan Peak, the Blue Tree before leaving the Garden to visit Lake Yandel'ora before catching the bus home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prA-sCPA7rM

There is a high cliff line track too and we will follow both on this circuit. A walk not to missed especially as the spring flowers should be out in profusion. Rock hopping and some scrambling.

At this time of the year, there will be abundant display of wildflowers, including waratahs, orchids and the not easily found Pterostylis tunstallii. Steep and slippery sections, obstacles.

Down on the Hay Plains there is a delightful national park along the banks of the Lachlan River. This is a multi-day trip to explore various locations within that park, to see just what biodiversity there is on the property, to learn of its history with one of the people who grew up on site (our very own beloved Valerie Atkinson) and to just enjoy the immensity of the open spaces.

It consists of a walking/bike track beside the Mittagong Rivulet and 526 cherry trees that have been planted, dedicated to each and every soldier who died during the Vietnam War. The walk is particularly attractive in spring when the cherry trees are in flower. Incorporated into the design of the War Memorial has been a monument, inscribed with the names of the Australians who gave their lives in the service of their country. Then we continue to the Southern Highlands Botanical Garden. Limit: 12. View

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Quite simply this is my favourite campsite in the entire Gardens of Stone NP as it is situated in an area of extreme beauty as well as having the advantage of a spectacular and pristine canyon nearby which gives us pure water and seemingly endless pagodas to explore, photograph and enjoy. The sunrises and sunsets from here have to be seen to be believed with wonderful views of Pantoneys Crown, Baal Bone ridge and far beyond. This will be a weekend to submerge yourself in the realm of the senses, relax with friends and emerge refreshed and energized! Rock scrambling.

Expect abundant wildflowers. Walks up to 17k, with up to 750m elevation gain, steep sections, and stairs. Leader will book group camping site for the Warrumbungles 4-8 October. Non-campers will need to book own accommodation. All can book own accommodation for Mt Kaputar 8-11 October. Cabins and campsites are available at Dawson Spring. Limit: 12. View

  1. Leader will be Claire Finnigan. Today we walk the classic Spit to Manly walk that doesn't require introduction.  It is a popular walk through bush with superb water views. It's the time of the year when The Flannel Flowers bloom.  It is always an amazing show at this location.  Pink Flannel Flowers stole the show in summer 2021.  Now is the time to admire the (White) Flannel Flower again. At the end of the walk, the options are plenty: ice cream, fish and chips, coffee, pub, swim
