MI: Film Night: Tallaganda, Ulladulla Bowling Club

Tallaganda features the conservation issues of the endangered greater glider, the researchers who work to understand them and the activists seeking to protect their habitat in Tallaganda, Badja and Glenbog State Forests, which are still under threat from industrial scale logging. This film uses innovative techniques to record the natural behaviour of a range of gliders and other nocturnal species. The recordings of glider sequences are memorable. The groundbreaking recordings from inside a greater glider den tree by Ana Gracanin are also a film highlight.

The screening will be followed by a Q & A panel with the filmmaker, David Gallan.
