1. Introduction 

Welcome to the National Parks Association of NSW (NPA) member services. By accessing or using our website, participating in our programs, or engaging with our content, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not access or use our services. 

These terms apply to all visitors, members, donors, volunteers, event participants, and any other users of our website or services. 

 

2. About Us 

NPA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection of nature and national parks in New South Wales. We offer memberships, public events, conservation campaigns, educational resources, and opportunities for volunteering and support. 

 

3. Use of Website and Content 

You agree to use our website and services only for lawful purposes. You must not: 

  • Use our website for any illegal or unauthorised purpose 

  • Post or transmit any harmful, misleading, defamatory, or abusive content

When you become a member or make a donation:

  • You acknowledge that NPA may contact you in relation to your membership, donations, or related activities 

  • You understand that any benefits or services linked to your membership are provided at NPA’s discretion and may change 

We reserve the right to reject or cancel a membership, donation, or transaction if it appears fraudulent, inappropriate, or violates our values or these terms. 

All financial transactions are processed securely through authorised third-party providers. We do not store your full payment details on our servers. 

 

5. Events and Activities 

Participation in NPA-led events, bushwalks, volunteer programs, or fieldwork is subject to the terms provided in event-specific documentation, including: 

  • Any waivers or risk acknowledgements 

  • Codes of conduct 

  • Safety and environmental guidelines 

Participants are responsible for ensuring their own physical fitness, insurance (if applicable), and understanding of risks involved in outdoor or conservation activities. 

We may modify or cancel events due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavour to notify participants promptly and, where possible, offer refunds or alternatives. 

 

6. Privacy 

Our handling of personal information is governed by our [Privacy Policy], which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and its 2024 amendments. 

By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  • NPA excludes all warranties, representations, or guarantees about our website and services
