Upper Hunter, Port Stephens, Friends of Tomaree NP

History:

Formed 6 Nov 1956 as the Hunter-Manning National Parks Association. Early founders included Joe Richley (1895-1978), Rod Earp (1909-1987), Tom Farrell (1904-1996) and Jeff Sutton. Soon after it became one of two founding ‘Regions’ of NPA NSW in 1957. Reconstituted as Hunter Branch on 12 Apr 1976.
