|(NEW!!!) Park the cars at GR 332 062, near spot height 1110. Walk north north west, then west to GR 323 070, near spot height 1066. Continue underneath the cliff line and explore the multiple ravines of Kangaroo Creek, going south, until about GR 330 062. Re-connect with the vehicles. About 8 km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

|High above the Newnes Campground is Old Baldy, a massive set of cliffs named by rock climbers and within its rocky face is the Skywalker Traverse, along a series of ledges and overhangs. This is a great walk and not that difficult although it does entail some scrambling, mainly off-track walking, but certainly worth it. Rock scrambling.

|(NEW!!!) Ridgewell Road – Burramoko Ridge – Baltzer Lookout – Burramoko Ridge – Crayfish Creek – Burra Korain Ridge – Ridgewell Road. Fabulous views from Burramoko Head and a nice off-track walk to Crayfish Ck and Burra Korain Ridge. The downside is the road walking. Graded a 4 due to the off-track section. Fire trail, track, off-track with mild scrub, easy creek crossing.

|(DRAFT - do not publish yet) To celebrate the completion of The Harbour to Hawkesbury series of walk, we'll do a celebration walk from Cowan to Brooklyn, followed by the classic Fish and Chips. This is a very popular walk. The highlight of the whole walk is the incredibly picturesque Jerusalem Bay, which makes a great spot for a mid walk swim. At this time of the year, it is a wildflowers lover's paradise... Boronia, Grevillea, Tea Tree, Rice flowers, Pea flowers, just to name a few. Some rock scrambling and steep sections. Limit: 12. |(NEW!!!) Spring is orchid time. Sylvan Grove Native Garden has such an array of Rock Orchids. They are majestic flowers to admire. https://www.cbcity.nsw.gov.au/environment/parks-reserves/sylvan-grove-native-garden It s also a botanical garden with a variety of plants. After the garden, we will take a walk in Georges National Park with great views of the river. Spring flowers including native orchids will be plenty. Can arrive early to have coffee before the connecting bus. More options on South Side of the Station.
