  We have an opportunity to explore some of the best of the North Shore of Sydney Harbour.
Starting at Balmoral Beach with its little jetty and huge fig trees; to Middle Head to explore fortifications and cliff top views beyond the Heads; then through angophora trees to Georges Heights and barracks converted to artist studios; and on to Clifton Gardens for lunch. Then we will walk beside secluded bays to the navy memorials at Bradley’s Head. Then it is a short walk to Taronga Zoo for a Ferry to Circular Quay and trains home. Limit: 20.

 Walk from Cheltenham Railway Station to Epping Railway Station via the Lane Cove National Park. We will follow the fire trail along Devlins Creek to the junction with the Great North Walk (GNW). Follow the GNW until the Terrys Creek Track turnoff. Follow this track through various parks until we come to Terrys Creek Falls. We will then back track and walk to the Epping Railway Station. Possible sightings of flannel flowers and other flowers in bloom along this walk. The track could be rough and slippery in parts. Creek crossings.

 Commencing at the Glow Worm Glen car park the path winds through forest with a couple of little creek crossings. Continue on the track to the left of the Glow Worm Glen steps which winds along to Buchanan's Lookout. Optional opportunity to continue to Elsmere Lookout. Enjoy the beautiful view while having lunch and return by the same route.

Camellia Gardens
Located in Caringbah and overlooking beautiful Yowie Bay, the Gardens were recognised by the International Camellia Society as a Camellia Gardens of Excellence in 2014. There are sixty Camellia Gardens of Excellence in the world, with the Camellia Gardens and Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby being the only two in NSW.
The Gardens have over 400 cultivars and species donated and acquired since its first plantings began in 1969, in addition to many other rare ornamental and native plants. The collection is of unique value to Australian horticulture. The Gardens have something for all seasons. The camellias are in season during autumn and winter.
Tea house serves delicious devonshire and lunches.
We will play by ear. A walk at Woronora Cemetery can be added on. Location: Caringbah

Commencing Kitchener Street, St Ives and down to the creek and fire trail via creek, Mueller Track, where the stillness of nature surrounds you, and up to The Wildflower Garden. Continues to Solander Track. Pretty along the creek, with a waterfall (Phantom Falls). Some quite wet tiny tracks. Lots of ups and downs. Those who use hiking sticks, bring them. Visitors/info centre, next to Senses Track, has a coffee machine and native plant nursery. Return via a slightly shorter route.

 Nadgee Nature Reserve is a real delight, especially in spring with the wildflowers and hopefully a ground parrot or two. And the coastal scenery is wonderful, with perhaps a sighting of whales!
The Reserve is south of Eden and runs down to the border.
This full pack walk is out and return featuring multiple nights at two of the best locations in the Reserve – Newtons Beach and Nadgee Beach. From Newtons Beach we spend the time enjoying the beach and the lovely scenery. From Nadgee Beach, we will do a couple of lovely day walks including a visit to Bunyip Hole
and the border marker at Cape Howe. Location: Nadgee NR Limit: 8.

   LEADER: Philip Wright Start with a coffee at the famous German bakery, Then walk to Wentworth Falls lake. The circuit around the lake shows you the serene beauty of the lake. Admire the water birds, sculptures and the flora...Maples, tea trees, grevillea ( specific to this area), isopogan, sun Orchid, wild strawberries, tree ferns, and of course Waratahs and rhododendrons flowering in October. There are more species unknown to the leader. Botanists are invited to join the walk to enrich our knowledge. If you are lucky, you will see redbellied snakes. On return to the station, you can treat yourself with the famous pastries at the German bakery.

  A six night full pack walk involving Daveys Hut, Kidmans Hut, and Mawsons Hut. Exact details will be determined by weather and other factors. We camp near these huts but not in them so everyone needs to be fully equipped for the variety of conditions in the area. We stay at ski lodge in Jindabyne for a night on either side of the walk with our regular BBQ overlooking the lake. Always a pleasure walking in Kosciuszko area and this will feature some great scenery and bush in an area new to the leader. Location: Kosciuszko NP Limit: 15.
