  (NEW!!!) Walk approx 6 km along Endrick fire trail, passing the rebuilt walk-in campground along the way, then approx 2 km off track down to Clyde River. Approx 300 m descent/ascent and some rock scrambling getting to and from Clyde. Likely to be very scrubby, but the pass to reach the rainforest at base of escarpment is spectacular. Wonderful waterfall with a swimming hole below and historic remains of a not-so-successful coal mining enterprise. Location: Morton NP Map: Sassafras and Tianjara 1:25,000 Limit: 8. View |
