An easy walk along the Jervis Bay coastline including the White Sands walk. Grade: 2/3. Distance: 10km (shorter options).
Track connects some of the most beautiful beaches, including the famous Hyams Beach and the lovely Greenfield Beach. Wander through shady bushland full of scribbly gums before the path opens up to brilliant white sand and turquoise water. This is a gorgeous walk on a clear path and includes the Scribbly Gum track. Beginning at the museum we follow the path along a cliff-lined stretch of the Kangaroo River’s northern banks. See the pools of Nelson’s Creek and head up to see the beautiful moss garden before heading back towards the museum. Bring morning tea and lunch - explore the folk museum if you wish.
