(Date Changed) A great opportunity to enjoy an easy paddle in the magnificent Kangaroo Valley. Bring your own kayak or rent. Book kayaks with Leader at least 1x week beforehand. From Bowral, we will drive for appox 30 minutes to Safari Kayaking located in Kangaroo Valley. We select our kayaks/canoes and life jackets. Kangaroo Safari will transport our kayaks to Bendeela and the carpool to follow. Once set up and in the water, we will head upstream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are returned to Safari Kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire to be confirmed. Leader will provide details when established with the hire co. Cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go. NOTE: Itinerary may change! HAZARDS: Mostly still water. From Basin View Boat Ramp, we will cut across to the head of Wandanian Creek where we will explore upstream. From around the 6km mark we will look out for a suitable lunch spot. For those interested we will paddle further upstream until we reach the Princess Hwy before heading back. • New Event EHT 12:30pm Tidal. Deep water. Possible wake from motorboats.
