A set of metal steps brings you down to Steamers Beach which has high cliffs. We will walk along the beach to the far end where there are rock overhangs We will return the same way. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longStarting from Errol Bond Reserve, Cudmirrah (opposite Cuddy Café) over the dunes to Cudmirrah Beach and Sussex Inlet Surf Club. We then descend to the rocks and follow The Inlet to morning tea. We can climb up a vegetated dune for views then Cater Island for lunch, returning via Swan Lake. Afternoon tea at the cars.

We will be teaming up with Milton Rural Landcare, Treading Lightly, Shoalhaven Landcare and the NSW Threatened Species Program. We will plant Casuarina littorals, the preferred food tree of the Glossy Black Cockatoo. After the hard work there will be time to catch up with others and be treated to refreshments. Then the track to the rock ledge leads us to views of Bherwerre Beach, the Budawang hinterland & Pigeon House Mountain. We will walk the length of Caves Beach & then onto Bherwerre Beach where we will explore for a shell midden. Return to the car ark via a lookout high above Caves Beach. Entry fee for Booderee NP.

Rd. through weather-beaten forest to Buckleys Headland. This is a great walk for anyone who isn’t into too many hills with a rewarding unencumbered view south to Narrawallee and north to Cunjarong Point. Coffee afterwards back in Milton but if you would like a restful snack at the headland bring that as well. Good shade if the weather is hot.
