Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.(Fully Booked) Blackbutt Reserve occupies over 182 hectares of natural bushland providing visitors with the opportunity to enjoy nature trails, wildlife exhibits, or passive recreation. The Reserve's undulating natural environment is the perfect place to explore the wonders of nature with its peaceful picnic settings, wide open spaces and the diverse range of habitats and ecosystems. The modern and spacious wildlife exhbits provide close viewing of the various native animals on display. The exhibited animals and interpretative signage located along the boardwalk (both wheelchair and pram friendly) provide an opportunity for visitors to observe the fauna and learn about each species. Comprising Eucalypt Forest and pockets of significant remnant vegetation, Blackbutt Reserve boasts a restored rainforest providing habitats for a number of rare and vulnerable species.

Never-ending view of Mount Solitary and The Three sisters. We’ll visit many scenic points including Lady Darley Lookout, Kedumba View, Echo Point, Minnamurra Lookout, Honeymoon Lookout, Bridal Veil View, Leura Cascades, Olympian Rock and Gordon Falls Lookout. Steep and slipppery sections. Gortex boots an advantage. Walk will be cancelled in severe weather warning, bush fire warning or park closure. Please check your mailbox the night before to make sure walk is still on.
