After a break we will backtrack and follow the Hacking River fire trail and cross the Hacking. We then follow the Red Cedar Circuit and cross back over the river. Now we ascend a short off-track section to pick up a variety of tracks leading back to Helensburgh Station. River crossings, cliff edges, loose stones.

Park on the road from Mount Airly to Genowlan Trig where there is suitable space. Walk up the road to the top of the plateau and then take the road to Genowlan Trig. Leave this road at about GR 253 320 and head east to the top, southern end of the Valley of the Dinosaurs. We will then proceed down the valley stopping to explore as many slots as possible on both sides. Next, visit the Ultimate Slot and then return to the road and to the vehicles. Scrambling and exposure.

On this trip, I will take you to a few of the wilder locations within the park that aren't often visited as well as plenty of the fantastic regular walks which make this park justifiably famous. With hot showers and good amenities isn't it time you experienced the wonderful Warrumbungles! Interested people can come for 4/5 or 6 days. Some off-track walking. Limit: 20. View

On day 4 two coastal walks in the Wyrrabalong National Park – total distance 15km. Grade 2. All cycles are on bitumen cycle paths suitable for road bikes, hybrid or mountain bikes. There will be occasional road riding, mostly on quiet streets. Accommodation will be at the Budgewoi Holiday Park. Own transport required as we will need to drive to activities. Most of the walk is Grade 1 and an optional 3km loop in the bush (the Grade 2 section) can be omitted to make a shorter easier walk of 3.5km. Return to Ropes Crossing Shops, choice of buses to Mount Druitt, St Marys or Penrith Stations. Coffee somewhere. View

We then follow the Princess Marina track to Kelly Falls. From the falls we will follow various tracks including an off-track section to roads that lead to Otford Station.
