Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.The intended route for the Great River Walk goes through Bar Point, an isolated settlement on the Hawkesbury River. Some route options have never been surveyed. This walk is intended to explore the unknown links to see if they actually exist. The notional route is Mt White to Marlow Lookout to Big Jim Point, then along the shoreline to Bar Point. Water taxi to Brooklyn. Public transport users can train to Brooklyn then pick up.

Descend the fire trail to the Yadboro River. Follow the river downstream to return to cars. Real billy tea for afternoon tea! Expect to get your feet wet ... there are five river crossings! But you can have a swim if it's hot.
