The middle reaches of Galong Creek hold a wonderful canyon full of cascades and small waterfalls as well as numerous pools you'll want to swim in. This is a very open style canyon with lots of scrambling and people coming should be competent in this activity! Rock scrambling and steep walk down from Tin Pot Hill. Friday evening welcome An informal welcome dinner will be held on Fri 1st March at the residence of Pat and Allen Schultz, 177 Brown Street Armidale. Arrive from 5.30 pm onwards, dinner served at 6:30pm. Armidale NPA members will be providing home-made dinner (please make a donation). For those arriving by train, the location is near Armidale Railway Station (scheduled arrival is 5:35pm). Lifts will be available from the station if required.
