|This is a circuit walk along Old Argyle Road into Penrose State Forest. Circle back through the forest crossing the upper reaches of Paddys River to return to Old Argyle Road. Rough track, creek crossings, need sandals or alternative footwear.

|(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Namadgi National Park with its wonderful array of habitats is a great place to explore! Fantastic boulder ridges, alpine frost hollows and bountiful swamps are just a few worth seeing on its expansive system of tracks. This is a car based camp, costing $10 a person per night at the comfortable Honeysuckle Creek Campsite, only a short drive from the nations capitol. I expect to also visit Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve during our stay as lots of wildlife worth spotting within its confines. Optional rock scrambling.

|The walk follows Winters Fire Trail to Beasleys Lookout giving views towards Sydney looking down on the M5 Motorway. From the top an indistinct track leads down to the Nattai River. After crossing the river a well formed track leads to Lake Alexandra. Rough track, slippery rocks, river crossing steep descent.

|(Fully Booked) This would be very good as the first walk for those wishing to try out pack walking. From Hornsby station a few streets and link up with Great North walk. Head to Crosslands reserve (approx. 14km, mostly downhill and relatively easy with one tricky creek crossing). Camping at Crosslands : beautiful spot with water and toilets. Walk out next day to Berowra station (5.5km). Slippery sections

|Flying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley. The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot. On the edge of the escarpment there are spectacular views. Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.

|A fantastic walk along the beautiful Water Race Creek with a superb 100 metre waterfall amongst its highlights. Add to this a wonderful campsite next to the Shoalhaven River where the wiley fisherman may catch bass or trout plus a campfire to sit around and yarn under the starry sky. Some rock scrambling along the creek.

|This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic Track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wildflowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Walk starts at Wanganderry Fire Trail yards. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.

|Full pack walk to the famed “bushwalkers resort” in the rugged upper Kowmung River, then two wonderful days to chill out at the best bush campsite in the Blue Mountains with nice side trips. The final day is a full pack walk back up the hill to the cars (sigh!). A walk that is short in distance but rugged in nature.

|Evans Crown Nature Reserve has some of the most impressive boulder formations you're ever likely to see and on this trip I plan to explore as many of these outcrops as possible with forays north and south of Crown Rock. At this time of year the wattle and various other native plants should also be in full bloom which makes for a colourful walk! Rock scrambling.

|Mt Jellore is an outstanding landmark in the Southern Highlands. The walk follows a fire trail through private property to Mt Jellore. The final 150 metres are very steep and give access to a trig point. A little further on there are spectacular views. Return by the same route. Very steep and rough track, unfenced lookout.

|If you like coastal cruising with the odd swim and snorkel included then this is the walk for you as we saunter along the littoral zone from the scenic Caves Beach, heading south and passing another dozen or so beaches along the way to finish up near Red Ochre sands. Expect rock shelves, colourful heathlands and enough time out to enjoy this magnificent coastline. Rock scrambling in a couple of places.

|This park protects the largest surviving koala population is greater Sydney. Stokes and O’Hares Creeks enclose a succession of idyllic waterholes, three of which are accessed on this delightful walk. Keep looking up for those koalas! It's December and beautiful waterholes so bring your cossies 🙂 Well formed tracks/fire trails. One steep section of track. Some clambering down sandstone near swimming holes.

|The justifiably famous Wollangambe Canyon is a delight especially as we float through its wonderfully sculptured narrow confines on our lilos admiring the spectacular scenery including a short detour up Crayfish Canyon. There is no abseils in this canyon but being able to swim is important and a lilo/portable raft is essential. Rock scrambling and deep water so lilo is necessary.
