  • RSVP essential. Bundeena to Otford. Incorporating the soon to be world famous Manly to Bondi Walk, we have planned a series of bi-weekly walks from Barrenjoey to Gerringong. Come join us in this historic & epic adventure. This week we are doing the Coast Track in one day. It's 28km with 1250 metres elevation. The only public transport points are Bundeena wharf and Otford station. We are starting from Bundeena wharf at 9 am. The last train to leave Otford is 10:36 pm.  There is no public transport exit point in between. This section is out of sequence because we wish to do it in daylight saving hours.

This trip has two sections. The first part is in the Mt Hotham and Dinner Plains area of the Alpine National Park from 31 Mar to 8 April 2019, a series of six day walks. The walks are Mt Tabletop (10km), Brandy Creek to Cobrunga River (8km), Mt Feathertop Summit via Razorback Track (22km), Cobungra Ditch Walk (12.5km), The Huts Walk (15km), Brabralung Trail (12km). Five of the walks are Grade 3 and the Mt Feathertop Summit is Grade 4. Accommodation will be in a self-catering ski lodge in Mt Hotham. Limit is 18. Between trips there is two days in Corryong. The second part of the trip is in the Jagungal Wilderness Area in the Kosciusko National Park from 10 April to 12 April. A 43km three day circuit pack walk. Day 1 is 16km - Round Mountain Car Park to O’Keefe’s Hut, Day 2 is 13km with a 400 metres steep ascent - O’Keefe’s Hut to Derschkos Hut via Mt Jagungal, Day 3 is 14km from Derschkos Hut to Round Mountain Car Park. This is a Grade 3. Accommodation is camping. Limit is 10. It is possible to do the entire trip or only one section. For full trip information and a copy of itinerary contact Adrian. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longMedium walk along Bargo River to Seethru and Mermaids Pools then along ridge via Matilda Track to lookout. This is a well worn track offering superb views of Bargo River and includes views of Mermaids Pool and Tahmoor Gorge. For those not doing the extension walk, lunch at the lookout and then return along the Matilda Track to car park (8km return, 160m total ascent). Optional (hard) extension walk: grade 4, walk with strict limit of 12 walkers. We will continue beyond lookout and down Rosies Pass into Tahmoor Gorge for lunch. After lunch, we will continue walking along the gorge and back up to the ridge via Jacks Pass and back to car park. (Total walk: 11.5km, 400m total ascent). Unfenced cliffs. Steep ascent and descent particularly on optional extension. Rock hopping.
