Paddle | A canoe or kayak tripSwim | A trip that involves swimmingPicnic | For a mostly static outdoor activity based around a picnic(Leader Changed) We drive to Safari Kayaking located in Kangaroo Valley arriving around 9’ish where we select our kayaks/canoes and life jackets. (You have a choice of double/singles canoe/kayaks). Kangaroo Safari transport our boats to Bendeela and the car pool follows on. Once set up and in the water we head up stream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are picked up by Safari Kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire is $40 cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Please let me know via email by Sunday 10 Feb if you are interested in coming and whether you require a rental kayak. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go... especially if this warmish weather is still around. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call. (I love making up answers). BTW, 5 bonus points for falling in. Deep water paddling. Mostly still water with one short rapid which can be walked if preferred. PFDs compulsory.

Walk/wade (some deep wades) in the creek through canyon-like Henson Glen for about 2km. Scramble out near the junction with Katoomba Creek, then re-join Minnehaha Trail and follow it back to the cars. Bring dry bags. Short wet suit is recommended. Rock scrambling.

We walk from Hazelbrook Station to Bedford Creek. Then we walk to Lawson via South Lawson Fire trail. There are many waterfalls on the way, Victor Falls, Terrace Falls, Cataract Falls, Federal Falls, Junction Falls, Adelina Falls and some unknown falls. Swim in the creek and splash under the water falls. Mostly shady. Perfect summer walk. Slippery section.

Come join us in this historic & epic adventure.  21 walkers took part in section 1,  Barrenjoey to Collaroy  with 13 who completed the 21 km 450 m elevation route.  Congratulations! This week we walk from Collaroy Beach to North Head via Dee Why Beach, Curl Curl Beach, Manly Beach & Shelly Beach. Featuring beaches, cliffs, magnificent headlands and historic sites, this urban coastal loop is one of Sydney's most spectacular walking tracks. The Fairfax Walk at North Head offers spectacular views over Sydney Harbour Heads. Walk as much or as little as you wish. There are various exit points. Slippery sections.

Rock Hopping around West Head to the gun emplacements and up the new Soldiers Track to the West Head Lookout. Then on tracks to the Koolewong Circuit, Red Hand Cave and south to the Basin via Currawong. A little-off track and short rock hopping section. Ferry connects with frequent buses from the city. Many swimming opportunities at 6 separate beaches. View
