Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPark on the plateau at GR 250 324. Walk down Genowlan Mountain Trail to about GR 255 329 and find a way up a north-south running defile. Check the pagodas around GR 255 332 and to the south of there. From here, check the ravine and slots to the north west, then walk out on the spur to the south at GR 2525 3300. Now, use the next defile to the west to descend and eventually return back to the cars. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(Updated Details) The 100km Oxfam trail is part of the well-known Great North Walk and the Harbour to Hawkesbury Walking Track in the beautiful bushland of northern Sydney. Section 2 starts from Cowan Station and finishes at Berowra Station. This walk explores the ridges and valleys around Berowra Waters. There are plenty of excellent views, especially at Naa Badu Lookout and the many creek vantage points along the way. There are some solid climbs on this walk. Berowra Waters, in the middle of the walk, is a great place for lunch. Bring morning tea, lunch, snacks and water. Steep and slippery sections.

The walk then follows the escarpment past several view points and along a fence line across a couple of small creeks to Crystal Pool. The water leaves the pool to fall over the escarpment into the valley below. Return by the same route. Rough and steep tracks, slippery rocks, fallen trees and unfenced cliff edges.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(Updated Details) Berowra to Bobbin Head is section 3 of the 100km Oxfam trail which is along the well-known Great North Walk and the Harbour to Hawkesbury Walking Track in the beautiful bushland of northern Sydney. We start at the Berowra station, walk along the Benowie Track, head up Lyrebird Gully to Mt. Kuring-gai, then descend towards Cowan Creek on the Mt. Kuring-gai Track, continue alongside the water's edge and finish the section at Bobbin Head and then go back to Mt Kuring-gai Station. You would have the option to leave at Bobbin Head, walk along Bobbin Head Road to the Ku-Ring-Gai Creative Arts High School bus stop and take the 577 bus to Turramurra Station. This walk is one of the most pleasant in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, with great views over the water as well as nice views from the ridge at Berowra. We would pass through Apple Tree Bay and stop at the cafe for a cuppa in Bobbin Head before heading off to the Mt Kuring-Gai station. Steep and slippery sections.

If you haven’t then you have never done this walk which is along Sydney Harbour’s shoreline all the way from North Ryde to the Bridge with 75% in bushland. It links up all the shoreline reserves, some well known, others remote.
