Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) Rising up from the Wolgan Valley in isolation, Donkey Mountain has always had a great appeal to me and in this my 6th visit I'll explore a few nooks and crannies I haven't been to before! Be prepared to be knocked out by the superlative views from its pagoda studded summit and by the numerous small rooms, slots and passes as we travel from one end to the other. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

There are plenty of excellent views, especially at Naa Badu Lookout and the many creek vantage points along the way. There are some solid climbs on this walk so be sure to allow enough time. And we can even have lunch midday! We'll need the rest before heading up the hill. Some steep sections.

Mostly footpaths. Some gravel road. At the end of Russel St we follow old car tracks through the sand, grass and scrub; so not all smooth.

Launch from Greenwell Point and paddle upstream into the Berry Canal to explore if we can get around any or all of Apple Orchard, Nobles, Mangrove and Haven Islands. Return past Orient Point to explore Goodnight, Crow and Billys Islands. PFDs compulsory. Medium grade.

Facilities, coffee, water plentiful, along with wonderful views and some harbour history. A fast pace will be maintained given the distance. Possibility to rockhop from Balmoral Beach to the Spit depending on the weather. Joint walk with the Bush Club.

This is a walk to two heads, a swamp, an abandoned mine and fabulous views. We will visit a head not often seen. My previous two attempts to do this walk were thwarted by heat or rain. Track, off-track with mild scrub, cliff edges, creek crossing and fire trail.

We will drive to a spot off the Great Dividing Range and make our way through the soaring pagodas into the stunning Hall of Elrond and then down into the green valley and to the edge of an open cut coalmine. Using another ridge, we will then make our way back up to the top of the Great Dividing Range and the cars through more stunning pagodas. Scrambling and exposure.
