Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(NEW!!!) This is my favourite walk in the Gardens of Stone National Park and once you reach the top of this imposing mesa you'll understand why! Access is via a friendly land owner and I plan to stay at a nearby hotel the night before so we can get an early start. Rock scrambling.

Joadja Nature Reserve was created in 2001. The management trail meanders through eucalypt forest to a rocky lookout, giving views over creeks and farmland. Returning to the Wombeyan Caves Road we cross and walk a little way to another fire trail and lookout towards Wombeyan Caves - this is a lovely lunch place. Rough fire trail and unfenced cliff edges.

Accommodation | An activity that involves an overnight stay, using hard-roofed accommodation such as a cabin, hut or hotel.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long15th May –  4th June 2019 Tour of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. (Trip Fully Booked and Waiting list applies) The proposed itinerary will take us to many of the well known sights within these countries where we will see museums of craft and ancient and modern art, bazaar’s, local village life and crafts, mud volcanoes, learn about the Zoroastrian worship, see ancient rock paintings, visit a unique cave complex, ride the longest cable in the world, see the first official Christian church along with many more sight along the way. We will have several cooking master classes of the local food as well as visiting several wineries along the way. The tour also includes a 20km day walk through the Shahdag National Park, an 8 km day walk through Dilijan National Park, a small hike to what is called “The Symphony of Stones”, 4x4 jeeps to the foot of Mount Kazbek (2170m) and visits to valleys and waterfalls along the way. The track branches off the Nattai Ridge Road to follow a fence line to a track leading to magnificent sandstone cliffs. The track then continues on to join the Rocky Water Holes Track. Walk starts at end of Wattle Ridge Rd at the locked gate. Rough track, slippery creek crossings and scrambling up loose scree slopes.

There are several viewpoints which look towards Mt Carrialoo, Crankeys Creek and Lake Yarrunga until reaching the end of the track overlooking Wombat Hill. On the return there is an optional trail leading to Rebeccas View over Sandys Creek on the other side of the ridge. Rough track and unfenced cliffs.

Just two weeks later, in Chile, this moon has a meeting with the sun in a total eclipse. Splendour Rock is a wonderful experience seeing the landscape under full moon, and at sunrise and sunset! This is a lovely trip with an unforgettable view from the campsite.

Follow this through the forest to a steep descent to the main dirt road leading to Beehive Point on Lake Yarrunga. This is a lovely picnic area and chance for a swim. Return by the main dirt road. Rough track and some steep sections both up and down.

The second section of this walk is very steep with the need to hang on to tree roots etc for stability. Some off-track traverse through fairly easy terrain.

Walk through the locked gate at the entrance to Budderoo National Park and follow the Hindmarch Pass Track until reaching an unmarked track to the left which leads to Les Lambert Lookout. This provides a lovely lunch place among the rocks with wonderful views into Upper Kangaroo Valley. Rough track, fallen trees, unfenced cliffs and steep ascent/descent.

The walk takes in views of Mt Gibraltar (highest point between Sydney and Canberra), Ninety Acre Hill Lookout and a track which winds through a beautiful fern gully. The track is sometimes overgrown and difficult to locate. Rough track, steep sections, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.

We walk the length of the Great Walk on the Fraser Island at a leisurely pace taking 8 days. We will have two food drops on the way and so the packs will not be too heavy. A lovely walk with a variety of vegetation and scenery, beautiful lakes, and spectacular sand dunes. The tall trees in the Valley of the Giants are a must to see! Spaces strictly limited because of transport requirements along the beaches of Fraser Island. Limit: 13. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(DRAFT - do not publish yet) This walk starts at a small isolated train station, and takes in some great scenery on the way to Woy Woy station. The walk gets most of the climbing out of the way quickly. Once up on the main ridge there are great views along the Hawkesbury River and Mooney Mooney Creek. Highlights of the walk include Kariong Brook Falls and Mt Wondabyne, the highest point in the area. We will catch a taxi from Woy Woy landfill to Woy Woy Station to avoid 4 km of boring road walk.

Take ferry from Brooklyn to Little Wobby. Explore Pacific Trail, Horseshoe Trail and Midway Ridge Trail. Superb views, grass trees abound, lots of wildflowers. Return to Brooklyn by ferry in the afternoon. Bring exact fare for  ferry (return fare is adult $15.40 and $7.80 for seniors), lunch, drinks and snacks. Slippery sections, some bush bashing and rock scrambling.

This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic Track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wildflowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Walk starts at Wanganderry Fire Trail yards. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.

The final day is a full pack walk back up the hill to the cars (sigh!). A walk that is short in distance but rugged in nature.

Stokes and O’Hares Creeks enclose a succession of idyllic waterholes, three of which are accessed on this delightful walk. Keep looking up for those koalas! It's December and beautiful waterholes so bring your cossies 🙂 Well formed tracks/fire trails. One steep section of track. Some clambering down sandstone near swimming holes.
