Base camp at Lake Tabourie Caravan Park and travelling out each day. Many of the paddles are only short days leaving a lot of time to explore on your own, take your push bike, swim, fish etc. This is an active holiday. Paddlers will need a kayak trolley for 2 of the paddles. Sit in kayaks with rudders only. PFDs compulsory. Limit: 12. View

Some will be in their spectacular breeding colours. Bring binoculars. Then walk south along the beach, sandbar and mangroves to the old coal wharf. Return through the coastal rainforest.

There is a very real threat that raising the Warragamba Dam wall may result in the de-listing of the Greater Blue Mountains from the UNESCO World Heritage List. GIVE A DAM is the grassroots community campaign to stop the destruction of the Blue Mountains national park and the over development in western Sydney from the raising of Warragamba Dam wall. This documentary showcases the spectacular landscapes under threat and the people who are trying to save it. View

A good walk to experience the last warm days of the summer period.
