From Evans Lookout the Horse track isn't an often taken route down to the valley, but it's worth the effort as you see few people, but sometimes wildlife if lucky! This is an interesting little walk full of variety.

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPackwalk Thornleigh to Cowan along the Great North Walk: a great walk through beautiful bushland, walking up Berowra Creek to Berowra Waters, then inland to Cowan. Mostly good bush track, some fire trail. Water and toilets at Crosslands, we'll continue onto Lyrebird Creek to camp. Lots of steep ups and downs (some using D rings), individual ascents 220m, multiple creek crossings.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longWollangambe Trail – Girdwood Track – Flat Top – Stick Ridge – Bungleborri Creek  – Stick Creek – return via another ridge and across Flat Top. The upper Bungleboori is full of fabulous rock formations, should be a nice autumn walk. Mainly off-track, a little fire trail, some scrub, creek crossing and possible unknown hazards.
