This is about the safest snokelling spot I can think of in Sydney. There are always many fishes around. If you haven't done snorkeling before, this is a good chance to learn. You need to buy a properly fitted snorkel. Bring drinks, snacks, sun protection and towel. There is a kiosk at the beach. We are starting the day late because low tide is at 2:55pm. Hazards associated with beach activities. Limit: 10. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longBegin our walk at Boat Harbour parking area and follow the Kiama Coastal Walk. Proceed to the whale watching platform in Boat Harbour Reserve and then stroll across Werri Beach (shallow water crossing possible but unlikely at north end). From north end of Werri Beach follow shoreline cliffs and bays to cliffs overlooking Loves Bay. On the return journey enjoy the views from a different perspective.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFlying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley. The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot. On the edge of the escarpment there are spectacular views. Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.

Entry via Joes Canyon, Clatterteeth Canyon, side trip up Bell and exit via Wollongambe Canyon. The side trip up Bell is of classic canyon beauty. Wetsuits, lilos, volleys/similar. Usual scrambling. One fairly easy blockup to negotiate. 8k, 250m desc/asc carrying wet gear uphill with a steepish climb out. Slippery rocks, deep cold water. Some rough scrub.

We’ll enter via Corkscrew Canyon in order to get into our canyon without abseiling. Plenty of rock hopping and scrambling and some narrow ledges to negotiate. Several wades and/or short swims. An interesting exit with a couple of scrambles - rope may be used. Some exposure at the exit and in the canyon. Bring your helmets and dry bags. Wetsuits recommended. About 8k. 5M, S223E; Canyon Grade 2.

The campsite has a decent sized shelter, electric bbqs, water and tables. Cost per person is $6 a night payable to leader ($18). Some rock scrambling amongst the granite.

Meet outside circular Quay Wharf 2. We walk across the bridge and along the coastline to Balmoral. Enjoy spectacular views and Aerial Display. Ample swimming opportunities. Walk as much or as little as you wish. There are many exit points. In previous years some walked as far as Manly. The coffee shop outside Wharf 6 sells large cappuccino for $2.50 before 9am. slippery sections
