We may only be able to use gas stoves. Day 1 - Saturday 3 March. Park at Growee Gulf on Bylong Valley Way. Use Deliverance Gully to gain Growee Range, then follow it east to Key Saddle. Descend into Lee Creek for overnight camp. Distance 10km. Day 2 - Sunday 4 March. With day packs, return to Key Saddle, then traverse a tight and convoluted ridge towards Goat Mountain, as far as the time permits, before returning to the camp. Day 3 - Monday 5 March. Make our way back to the cars along Growee Range and down through Wanda Wanda Crater and Gully. Distance 10km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. Numbers are strictly limited.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longThe spectacular Gang Gang Falls and the ecosystems of Gang Gang Gorge that they are feeding are unlikely to survive the expansion of underground coal mining, recently approved by the Government. See this unique area whilst you can. Park at GR 398 038. Descend into Gang Gang Canyon and walk all the way through to Gang Gang Tunnels, visiting a cave at about GR 309 400 seen on the previous trip, as well as the cave at GR 405 043. After exploring the Gang Gang Tunnels, turn south and walk to the falls at GR 407 045, whilst inspecting the caves along the way. Continue south to visit Lots Wife and the adjacent cave. Find a way out to the western side and re-connect with the cars. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure.

The swell on the day will define how far we can travel along the rocky shoreline but we will anyway have to pay close attention to the prevailing local conditions as we scramble over sometimes slippery boulders and possibly up a steepish cliff section. Alison Farrell and John Thorn will be leading the moderately paced 7 day walks from Apollo Bay (staying in a big house) using car shuffle.  The walk is 104km in total with length of day walks ranging from 10 to 22km. Stay underneath the cliffs and try to find a way up at about GR 347 205 (alternatively, traverse further east to Collett Gap). Once on top, walk to Collett Gap and from there, to Wolgan Rock. Return either via Collett Gap or the new pass at GR 347 205 (if it is possible). Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

Creek crossing at Junction Rock. Some exposure on the (very solid) staircase up to Govetts Leap. Joint with SBW/Bush Club.
