We may only be able to use gas stoves. Day 1 - Saturday 3 March. Park at Growee Gulf on Bylong Valley Way. Use Deliverance Gully to gain Growee Range, then follow it east to Key Saddle. Descend into Lee Creek for overnight camp. Distance 10km. Day 2 - Sunday 4 March. With day packs, return to Key Saddle, then traverse a tight and convoluted ridge towards Goat Mountain, as far as the time permits, before returning to the camp. Day 3 - Monday 5 March. Make our way back to the cars along Growee Range and down through Wanda Wanda Crater and Gully. Distance 10km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. Numbers are strictly limited.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longThe spectacular Gang Gang Falls and the ecosystems of Gang Gang Gorge that they are feeding are unlikely to survive the expansion of underground coal mining, recently approved by the Government. See this unique area whilst you can. Park at GR 398 038. Descend into Gang Gang Canyon and walk all the way through to Gang Gang Tunnels, visiting a cave at about GR 309 400 seen on the previous trip, as well as the cave at GR 405 043. After exploring the Gang Gang Tunnels, turn south and walk to the falls at GR 407 045, whilst inspecting the caves along the way. Continue south to visit Lots Wife and the adjacent cave. Find a way out to the western side and re-connect with the cars. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure.

Stay underneath the cliffs and try to find a way up at about GR 347 205 (alternatively, traverse further east to Collett Gap). Once on top, walk to Collett Gap and from there, to Wolgan Rock. Return either via Collett Gap or the new pass at GR 347 205 (if it is possible). Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

With day packs only, walk south, then east on Baker Ridge, through the labyrinth of spurs, till about GR 490 722. Return to the camp. If time permits, visit Sheep Station Point. Distance 8-12km. Day 3 – Sunday 25 March. From the camp, walk into a side gully to the west and down to Widden Trail and the cars. Distance 6km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

From here, walk SW and find a way down into a tributary of Koopartoo Gully at around GR 415 226. Moving SSE, investigate slots and pagodas until about GR 416 222. From here, walk W and use the tape to descend at GR 414 222, or, if time allows, traverse to GR 413 220 and use a known double tape descent route from GR 414 221. Descend to Wolgan Rd at GR 420 216 and walk 1.5km back to the cars (alternatively, a car shuffle could have been set up). Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
