Kangaroo Safari transport out boats to Bendeela and the car pool follows on. Once set up and in the water we head up stream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are returned to Safari kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire is $40 cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Please let me know via email by Sunday 11th Feb if you are interested in coming and whether you require a rental kayak. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go... especially if this warmish weather is still around. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give me a call. Understory and the battle to save NSW’s forests |

Branch |
Janine K. |
David Gallan’s documentary film Understorey reveals how a few dedicated conservationists in the 1960s gallantly campaigned to save NSW’s South-East native forests from the export woodchip industry. Enjoy viewing a film that captures the beauty, fragility and poignancy of wildlife living in the forest and how the film shows with such clarity that wildlife cannot survive without their forest. Discussion on forest protection will follow the viewing of this film. Tutor: Janine Kitson. Bookings essential.
