The track leads along the cliff face and ascends to enter Barren Grounds. The lunch spot provides beautiful views down to the coast. Rough Track. Very steep descents and ascents, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.

Central Grampians – Wonderland Circuit Walk 13km – grade 3; Mt Rosea Circuit Walk 12km – grade 3. Northern Grampians – Mt Stapylton Loop Walk 12km – grade 3; Mt Gar, Briggs Bluff Traverse 15km grade 3, Southern Grampians – Moora Moora Falls Walk 11km – grade 3; Fyans Creek to Mt William 16km – grade 3; Teddy Bear Gap Loop 9km – grade 3; The Fortress Walk 12km Grade 4. Accommodation will be in the Halls Gap Gardens Caravan Park, a variety of cabins are available and powered and unpowered sites for camping, campervans and motorhomes. Own transport is required, may be options for sharing cars depending on availability. Driving to walks will be shared amongst drivers and club rates will apply for passengers. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.See info on The Great West Walk  https://greatwestwalk.com.au/ This section is a variation of the Great West Walk(GWW).  The Great West Walk is from Parramatta to Penrith.  As the series Crossing the Blue Mountains is from Mount York to Emu Plains, we redesign the GWW to from Parramatta to Emu Plains. Part one will start from Ropes Crossing to Emu Plains.  Soon after we get off the bus, we will arrive at the historic Ropes Creek Station.  Then we proceed to Wianamatta Regional Park which has a variety of trees, vegetation, swamps and birds.  We walk through some newer suburbs of the area, lakes and walk to Emu Plains station via The Great River Walk. Slippery sections. As this is a 19km walk, We need to walk at a brisk pace of 5 kph so as to finish the walk at a reasonable time.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(NEW!!!) Start from Hanlons Road North and walk down the Back Creek, all the way to Tootie Creek at GR 708 928. There are caves and waterfalls to keep us occupied. Walk upstream along Tootie Creek till Front Creek at GR 698 927. Climb through a cliff line using a slot, then follow the creek back to Hanlons Road North. There are several points of interest along the way. A short day (about 4-5 hours). Scrambling and exposure.

Today, We walk from Wentworth Falls to Lawson via Bruces Walk. Begin with the Red Autumn Maple trees lined streets of beautiful Wentworth Falls. It’s a magical walk with waterfalls, caves, gum forests, sassafras’s forests, bird life and magestic views. The St John Ambulance Provide First Aid course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations and provide a first aid response to a casualty. It is suitable for both people in workplaces and members of the public who want training in first aid. Provide First Aid courses offered through Scouts NSW, St John’s and Bushwalking NSW cover all the normal content, but with an outdoors slant. Points of interest include Edinburgh Castle Rock, Empress Falls, Breakfast Point Lookout,  Jamisons lookout and Wentworth Falls Lookout. If you are lucky, you may see Lyrebirds, yellow tailed black cockatoos and the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoos(we saw 9 of this rarely seen red tailed on section 3). Visit Picnic Area before descending to Undercliff Track and onto Wentworth Falls Station via Darwins Walk. Enjoy afternoon tea at the famous German Cafe. Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longSocial | A trip where people will be encouraged to interact and chat with each other.The walk begins at Manning Lookout near Fitzroy Falls. Here there are great views over Kangaroo Valley.  The walk then follows the escarpment past several view points and along a fence line across a couple of small creeks to Crystal Pool. The water leaves the pool to fall over the escarpment into the valley below. Return by the same route. Indistinct and easily lost track, rough track, fallen trees, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.

A range of peddles and paddles at both locations with plenty of time off. MT Bikes not needed. Email leader for a detailed itinerary. Preference will be given to those who wish to both paddle and pedle. Trip is suitable for partners who do not wish to paddle or pedle. Trip combines with another club. Three of the paddles involve open water crossings which are generally very sheltered. PFD compulsory. Limit: 12. View
