Carrying old boots or gum boots for the entry and exit to the tunnel will make this section of the walk more enjoyable. Torch required. The local flora is certain to be a delight. The second loop will incorporate more variety on pristine sections with a route through the old Helensburgh Tip with city views and a good view of the Garawarra area. Slippery sections, creek crossings.

It is about the best walk in the Blue Mountains. Great views. Waterfalls. Good tracks but muddy at times, steps, some street walking. Be rewarded with a coffee at one of the great cafes of Leura. You would not want to come home after this out of the world walk. No booking is required so just turn up on the day View

We will view this natural marvel from the top and bottom. Expect lots of scrambling and the odd tricky bit! Rock hopping and off-track.

Kilometres of sandstone cliffs with waterfalls dropping 150m to the forest below. Visit Popes Glen, Boyds Beach, Cripps Lookout, Govetts Leap Lookout, Barrow Lookout and back to Blackheath via Braeside Walk. Well tracked but with lots of steps.

We will do the popular Drummoyne Bay walk loop first & finish at the now closed-down notorious Callan Park Psychiatric Hospital. We will then walk along the Glebe foreshore to the earliest Chinese historic Sze Yup Taoist Temple. Then we will visit the soon-to-be rebuilt Sydney fish market. On the way to visit the White Rabbit Chinese contemporary art gallery we will pass the famous Central Park complex where plants were first used extensively on the front of high-rise buildings. Nearby Chinatown Market City food court would be a nice place for lunch. Hopefully an interesting Sunday outing. All admissions free.

A circular walk through a wonderful bush, heath and over rock shelves with spellbinding views. Beginning at Bundeena, we walk along the Coastal Track, past the Balconies and Wedding Cake Rock to Marley Headland, before returning via the inland track. This takes us to places where we can see some interesting wildlife. Booking essential, giving your mobile, emergency phone and NPA numbers, if I don't already have them. The walk is fairly exposed and there are stairs and trip hazards. The tracks are mostly very good but there is one muddy and badly eroded track that we take.

Then a leisurely stroll along this most beautiful of rivers, before tackling the zig zag track that takes you up to Long Point. Steep sections of track.

If you think of Manly only as a beach, come along and change your mind. This walk climbs the hills around Manly. Starting at Manly Wharf, it heads up and over to Little Manly Beach, then crosses the ridge to Fairy Bower Beach via St Patricks College. After a long flat stretch along the promenade from Steyne to Queenscliff beaches, it climbs towards Freshwater. From the top, the walk descends to Manly Creek. It finishes with a climb to the Kangaroo statue, returning via Ivanhoe Park and Tower Hill Park to Manly Cove. Steps.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longSlow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.Two separate walks to two peaks in different areas of the beautiful Guula Ngurra NP, with a minor car shuffle. The Mt Penang loop walk follows a pleasant, well-formed track up to the summit of Mt Penang with its panoramic views. The track winds steadily uphill with a short, steep climb at the end. The Baldy Billy Peak walking track is an out-and-back walk to another summit with spectacular views down into the Wollondilly valley below. After an initial short but very steep descent we cross a pretty, wide valley floor and then start the slow, steady climb to the summit of Baldy Billy Peak and then return along the same route. Steep climbs & descents, uneven surfaces, indistinct track in places, unfenced cliff edges, slippery in places (walking poles recommended).
