Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longThe spectacular Gang Gang Falls and the ecosystems of Gang Gang Gorge that they are feeding are unlikely to survive the expansion of underground coal mining, recently approved by the Government. See this unique area whilst you can. Park at GR 398 038. Descend into Gang Gang Canyon and walk all the way through to Gang Gang Tunnels, visiting a cave at about GR 309 400 seen on the previous trip, as well as the cave at GR 405 043. After exploring the Gang Gang Tunnels, turn south and walk to the falls at GR 407 045, whilst inspecting the caves along the way. Continue south to visit Lots Wife and the adjacent cave. Find a way out to the western side and re-connect with the cars. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure.

We will visit the Organ Pipe Rocks for lunch. Then a beach walk on (hopefully) firm sand to Kiama and coffee before train return to Sydney. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longEarly start. Numbers are strictly limited. Park at GR 342 178 on Wolgan Road. Walk north west, then north, then north east towards Woolpack Gap. Stay underneath the cliffs and try to find a way up at about GR 347 205 (alternatively, traverse further east to Collett Gap). Once on top, walk to Collett Gap and from there, to Wolgan Rock. Return either via Collett Gap or the new pass at GR 347 205 (if it is possible). Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

Initial few kms along fire trail to stretch the legs, then mostly shady bush track along the creeks and rivers. Several ups and downs including 400m and 600m individual climbs. Creek crossing at Junction Rock. Some exposure on the (very solid) staircase up to Govetts Leap. Joint with SBW/Bush Club.
