|Park cars near as possible to top of Kedumba Valley Road. Walk down Kedumba Valley Road. Follow Sublime Point Trail towards Katoomba. Ascend Giant Stairway and make way to Katoomba Station. Drivers taken back to their cars. Steep fire trail sections with loose surface are to be encountered. Also there are some creek crossings involved.

|The Goulburn River is a delight to walk along with its grassy banks, colourful cliff lines and a good campsite at Spring Gully to welcome the weary walker! Also the bird and mammal life is quite diverse with many species worth searching out. This is quite an easy backpack suitable for someone new to overnight camping. A bit of off-track from the river to White Box Camp.

|3-5 Nov, Sat-Mon||Middle Hill and Blackwater Creek|
|Day 1. Drive to Mount Coricudgy. With water for the day, walk to Middle Hill and set camp at around GR 541 694. Explore the nearby area that shows a couple of interesting slots. About 10km. Day 2. Find a way down into the creek to the north, explore a possible volcanic ‘neck’ on the way, then descend into Blackwater Creek. Take water, climb a ridge to the west and walk back to the camp. About 10km. Day 3. Find a way down into the creek to the south and follow it to Blackwater Creek, exploring a number slots along the way. Walk up Blackwater Creek and find an exit at around GR 545 658. Walk the ridge and then the trail back to the cars. About 12km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

|Walk out along Narrowneck Trail to Castle Head. Great view to Ruined Castle and Mt Solitary. Cars and bicycles may be encountered on Narrowneck Trail.

|9 Nov, Fri||Starlight and Devil Pinch Canyons Look-in|
|Drive to Newnes and park at the locked gate at the Wolgan River Trail at GR 425 262. Walk the trail to GR 464 269 and walk in at the bottom of Starlight Canyon. Proceed to the last abseil and back. Swim/wade likely. Glowworms may be seen. Then visit the bottom of Devils Pinch Canyon, starting at GR 468 269. Both canyons are very impressive in their lower parts. Scrambling and exposure.

|Come and visit one of Sydney's least visited and undiscovered national parks with a a delightful walk down to Emerald Pool which is a wonderful place for a swim. Also look for Aboriginal carvings on the slabs of rock downstream from the pool.

|Honour Ave, Lawson – Adelina Falls – Junction Falls – Federal Falls – Cataract Falls – Fire Trail – Victor Falls – Terrace Falls – Bedford Creek. Return via fire trail and tracks. More waterfalls than you can poke a stick at, a nice walk for warmer days. Fire trail, track, steep slippery steps, creek crossings and possible leeches.

|From Glenbrook Station to Springwood Station via St Helena Ridge, Kings Link Track, Glenbrook Creek, and Magdala Creek. A great mixture of wet and dry forest, wildflowers, and some nice views over Glenbrook Creek.

|Walk to Evans Lookout. Fern Gully. Take Rodriguez Pass to Beauchamp Falls. Then back up to do the Grand Canyon. Old steep track. Some rock scrambling. Creek crossings.
