It has an amazing flat-topped grassy summit with the Blue Mountains' largest cairn on top, standing over 5 metres high and built by expert Scottish stonemasons in the early last century. It even has a tunnel right through the middle and really is a sight to behold. Of course, there's a book to sign as well. We will ascend via one ridge and descend via another. If there is time, I'd like to visit Square Rock which is close by. Because it's about a 100-minute drive from Oberon, which is the nearest town, I intend to stay here the night before the walk. Off-track and scrambling.
