Today we explore Hornsby and Normanhurst including Lisgar Gardens. Lisgar Gardens is a wonderful, secret garden hidden in the back streets of Hornsby. Spread across 6 acres, the garden packs a lot in with a little bit of something for everyone. This walk will be easier than my Neighbourhood Walk with less steep climbs. Preview of Lisgar Gardens There are sixty Camellia Gardens of Excellence in the world, with the Camellia Gardens and Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby being the only two in NSW. Hazards: Stairs and slippery sections.
