The Capertee Valley is regarded as one of Australia's best locations for birdwatching with over 280 species being recorded including the endangered regent honeyeater and hard to spot plume headed finch amongst some standout species. I'll be following the Capertee Bird Trail and if lucky we may see 100+ species for the day. This trip will also involve some bush harvesting of wild peaches as a bonus!
People interested can also stay in the Royal Hotel on Friday night for a very reasonable tariff and avoid the early Saturday drive up. Location: Wollemi NP Map: Glen Alice 89314N Limit:20. T: From: 7 Oct 2017, 7:52AM |
